We are more in favour of an obligation to achieve results than an obligation to provide means. So we asked the Loriot design office to check whether VMI is effective on CO2 and humidity in real life. <\/em><\/p>

The course of the study<\/span> <\/mark><\/em><\/h2>

During the winter period, from 30 November 2022 to 28 February 2023, the BE Loriot conducted a 90-day observation period in three houses located in Haut Rhin, Is\u00e8re and Seine-et-Marne. A Purevent VMI was installed in each of these houses<\/strong>, along with Class’Air sensors.<\/strong> These sensors are listed by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition and the ADEME’s “Ecolair” guide. They provide real-time analysis of indoor air quality (CO\u2082<\/sub> , humidity, temperature and pressure). <\/p>

The results of the VMI on relative humidity measured<\/span><\/mark><\/em><\/h2>

The results were very positive, since the Purevent VMI used in these 3 houses obtained results well below the technical standard<\/strong> thresholds for humidity sensitive CMV. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

VMI results on CO\u2082<\/span><\/mark><\/em><\/h2>

The results are also clear-cut in terms of CO\u2082<\/sub>: the values measured are well below those laid down in the technical notice for humidity-sensitive CMV.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
